The Animal Models Network supports three main funding mechanisms:
- Pilot projects, to support the critical stage of generating initial data for research that draws on animal models for social aging.
- The Bruce McEwen Career Development Fellowship, to support research-related activities (including collaborative and mentorship opportunities) for early career scientists.
- Small/working group meeting grants, to support collaborative meetings aimed at enhancing network and prospective network connections.
